How It Started

Grl Pwr LA started in 2019 as an online community on facebook geared towards helping women meet new friends in Los Angeles through intimate sister circle gatherings. The genuine connection and positive impact, proved the birth of something special. These meetups themed around personal growth and community through various themes was the start of something much bigger.

How Its Going

In 2020, Grl Pwr LA became an established 501 (c) (3) non profit organization and now offers a wide array of workshops, mentorship opportunities, and services that give back to underserved communities. Grl Pwr LA takes pride in offering quality experiences for women of all backgrounds to grow personally and professionally that are accessible.

Grl Pwr LA values inclusivity, diversity, wellness, respect, and purpose. These core values shape how we operate our events and pour into the community. Grl Pwr LA offers a wide variety of workshops and mentorship opportunities that will leave participants feeling inspired, confident, & a strong sense of community whether new to L.A or the city in which we host one of our workshops. We welcome women from all walks of life looking to discover a community and a safe space to grow.

Grl Pwr LA believes in the power of sisterhood and Women coming together to support one another. We believe this is a fundamental key to personal growth and success. Our events and services help women gain the the recourses and inspiration they need while feeling supported along the way. There is no need for us women to compete against each other. When we come together and support one another anything is possible. We are more powerful together!
